*Attention Blog Readers: Beginning tomorrow, February 9, 2009 The Furse family will begin construction on their brand new bubble house which will be built on 480,000 acres of land with no form of civilization to speak of. Chasity will homeschool the children and slowly, or by the end of the year, become a raging alcoholic or crack addict. There’s a good possibility that we will become Amish. But guess what……WE WILL NOT BE SICK! All of this why? Because, as I type this at 1:34 a.m. on Sunday Monday a.m. Hudson has a fever, sore throat and a headache. Seriously. And for everyone out there that is reading this if your kid is in Hudson’s class you are probably going to get this crap because he is going to school tomorrow unless his fever is 180 degrees, his head is spinning and vomit is coming out of every orphus of his body. You know why? Because he’s missed 9 days of school already and we still have 3.5 months left! Ok, I’ll retract that last part only because I have a fear of my kids vomitting in public. I can not bear the thought of if. I hurled once, in a mall no less and I have been tramatized since. I can’t stand the thought of my kids getting sick at school and having to walk down to the nurses office, tearful with vomit all down their fronts. I will however, wake him up in a few short hours and re-evaluate the situation. I am praying I was just high on Thin Mints when I took his temp and perhaps I just hallucinated the entire thing.
Tonight I had the depressing encounter of doing the taxes for the business. I was having way more fun watching Coldplay rack up the Grammy’s until Mark started working on our personal taxes and made me feel bad that I hadn’t even begun to dig out an expense receipt or so much as look at an invoice in months. It turned into an organizational nightmare. But a good lesson, none the less, since I am vowing now before God and the www not to let my obvious lack of organizational skillz get me into this giant mess again next year.
And since I don’t have anything exciting to really post tonight/today I am linking you to a hy-ster-ical blog I found tonight via Maile’s blog. So freakin’ hysterical. And that’s the tame version….there’s another version for those of us who can handle extensive use of the f-bomb. I’ve gotten out of the habit of reading as many blogs as I use to but you can bet your ass I bookmarked this one and I’m pretty sure I’ll read it every.single.day.for.the.rest.of.my.life. It’s THAT good.
Adios peeps! Send some vomit-free vibes my way please!!!!!
