i’ve struggled with the idea of maintaining two blogs. i use to post so much more on my old blog when it was all personal. somehow when i switched over and created my photography blog i felt very uncertain as to how much personal life chit chat i really wanted to reveal here. that being said, i think it has really accounted for my lack of posting. writing for me is therapeutic and NECESSARY. it’s how i process and it’s just part of me. to not share personal aspects of my life here for fear of appearing unprofessional is just ….well living in fear. i think it’s fine for other photographers to maintain separate blogs. but to me real.{life}.art. is about REAL LIFE. photography is a facet of my multifaceted life. there is much more of me and i hope that by combining my personal and professional blogs that it will only allow those of you seeking a photographer to get a glimpse inside my life…..what it looks like when i’m not behind the camera. as much as i love photography….it’s doesn’t define who i am. so agree or disagree. this is the way i roll.
